Objective of Gujarat Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana
The main objective of Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana started by the Gujarat State Government is to encourage the senior citizens of the state for pilgrimage to all the popular religious places of the state. Under this pilgrimage program started by the state government, 50% of the travel expenses for visiting various religious places within the state by the beneficiary senior citizens are borne by the Gujarat government itself. Benefits and Features of Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana
- Gujarat Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana 2024 has been started by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, through which the dream of such senior adults of the state who want to visit various holy places will be fulfilled.
- Under this scheme, only senior citizens of the state, whose age is 60 years or more, will be made to visit all the popular pilgrimage places within the state.
- Through this scheme, senior citizens of all communities, class, caste and gender of the state will be benefited.
- Under this scheme of the state government, the beneficiary senior citizens are made to travel within the state by non-AC buses of state transport and 50% of the travel cost is provided by the state government itself.
- In order to make the benefits of Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana reach more and more senior citizens, appropriate amendments have been made in the norms of the scheme by the state government.
- Under these amendments, 75% of the cost of the journey is now paid by the state government to the beneficiary senior pilgrims traveling by non-AC superbus, minibus, sleeper bus operated by Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation.
- Under the scheme, earlier the duration of the journey for the pilgrims was fixed at 60 hours by the state government but at present it has been increased to 72 hours.
- In the initial phase of this scheme, it used to take up to two months to approve an application by the government, but now it takes only one week after the amendment.
Gujarat Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To get the benefits of any government scheme, the candidate is required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria related to that scheme. Similarly, in order to avail benefits under the Shravana Tirth Darshan Yojana, it will be mandatory for the interested candidates to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-
- To apply under Gujarat Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana, it will be mandatory for the candidate to be a permanent resident of the state of Gujarat.

- First of all you have to go to the official website of Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana. Now the homepage of the website will open on your screen.
- On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the”Booking for Shravan Tirth” option. After this a drop box will open in front of you.
- In this drop box, you have to click on the option of “Registration” from the various options given. Now a registration application form will be displayed on your screen.
- After this, you have to enter the details of all the necessary information asked in this registration form, such as:- name, mobile number, email id etc.
- Now you have to click on the option of “Submit”, after which you will be able to register yourself.

- On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the “Booking for Shravan Tirth” option. After this a drop box will open in front of you.
- In this drop box, you have to click on the option of “Online Application” from the various options given. Now the login page will open on your screen.
- After this you will have to enter all the necessary information asked to you on this login page, such as:- Your username, password and captcha code details.
- Now you have to login by clicking on the option of “Login”. After that you have to click on the option of “New Application Link”.
- After that an application form will be displayed in front of you. You will have to enter all the necessary information asked in this application form, such as:- Number of passengers traveling, name of travel places and details of Aadhar card etc.
- Now you have to click on the option of “Save”. After that a new page will be displayed on your screen again.
- On this new page, you have to click on the option “Add Milk Link” to open the Ad Pilgrim form. Now you have to enter all the personal details of the pilgrim carefully.
- After that you have to click on the option of “Save”. Now you have to click on the option of “View” to confirm all the information entered in the application form.
- Now after checking all the information carefully, you have to click on the option of “Submit”, after which you will be able to apply under Gujarat Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojana 2024.
