Jammu Kashmir Sehat Health Bima Yojana 2024
The benefit of this scheme will be provided to 1 crore beneficiaries of Jammu and Kashmir. Those who were not covered under the government-launched Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The Jammu Kashmir Health Insurance Scheme will also include those who are eligible on the basis of socioeconomic and caste census. The official shared that the government has decided to include beneficiaries in the scheme which is missing from SECC 2011. The Jammu Kashmir Sehat Health Bima Yojana 2024 has been launched to provide health related facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who are suffering from serious diseases due to weak economic condition. The main objective of starting the scheme is to provide financial services. Health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh should be provided to vulnerable families, so that they can get treatment for their serious illnesses and stand on their feet. Sehat Health Scheme Launched on 26th December
The PMJAY-Sehat scheme has been launched in Jammu and Kashmir at 12 noon by our dear Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during video conferencing on 26 December. During this video conferencing, the PM said that I congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir for strengthening democracy. . . He said that I have seen chills and coronovirus growth on the faces of young elderly and women and expected growth. If seen, today is an important day for all the people of Jammu and Kashmir because today a very important step was taken by the government to start the J&K Health Insurance Scheme to provide health related facilities to all people. Benefits and features of J&K Health Insurance Scheme
- The Jammu Kashmir Health Insurance Scheme was launched by the Prime Minister on Saturday 26 December.
- Health-related services will be provided to one crore citizens of Jammu and Kashmir under the PM-Jai scheme.
- Along with this, citizens will also be provided a security insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.
- Union Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Singh were also present at the inauguration of the Jammu and Kashmir Health Insurance Scheme.
- The main advantage of starting this scheme is that people will be provided free insurance cover.
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided to about 15 lakh families.
- Health Scheme means Social Endeavor for Health and Telemedicine.
- At least 219 hospitals and 34 private hospitals have been included under this scheme to provide healthcare to the people.

Offline Application Process under Jammu Kashmir Sehat Health Bima Yojana
Interested beneficiaries of the state, who wish to apply under the Jammu and Kashmir Health Insurance Scheme, will have to visit their nearest CSC center and after going there they will have to ask for the application form. Receiving the application form, all the information sought for it has to be recorded and all its important documents have to be attached.
After attaching 10th Aadhaar, you have to submit this form in the same center. After submitting the form, you will be provided an e-card, using which you will be able to get your treatment done free of cost and get the benefit of this scheme. If you go to any hospital, you will have to take this e-card with you.
