Bharat Gaurav train will be ready from September to October 2023
Under the Kashi Yatra Scheme Karnataka started by the State Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, a train is being arranged for the pilgrims to visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which will be known as Bharat Gaurav Train. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 500 crore to prepare this train and it will be the first Bharat Gaurav train of Karnataka which is to be ready from September to October 2023. In the function organized by Muzrai Department, Chief Minister of Karnataka has started two official portals mainly for Kashi Yatra Subsidy Scheme, through which interested candidates can easily apply online for Kashi pilgrimage. Under this scheme of the state government, interested candidates can apply through the official portal of the “Hindu Religious Institute and Charitable Endowment Department” or “Seva Sindhu” and get a subsidy. During the event, information was also provided by Muzrai Minister Shashikala Jole that in the coming time, the amount of subsidy to the beneficiary pilgrims will be directly transferred to their bank accounts through DBT. The Kashi Yatra Scheme Karnataka 2023 was formally launched by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at a function organized by the Muzrai Department on Thursday, under which subsidy checks were distributed to a total of 10 beneficiary pilgrims. Benefits and Features of Kashi Yatra Scheme
- Kashi Yatra Scheme Karnataka 2023 has been launched by the State Government of Karnataka, under which poor and financially weak citizens of the state are encouraged to undertake Kashi pilgrimage.
- Under this scheme of the state government, an amount of Rs 5,000 is provided to the pilgrims as financial assistance.
- Through this scheme launched by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, a target has been set to benefit about 30,000 Kashi pilgrims of the state.
- Along with this, Rs 7 crore has been sanctioned by the state government under the account title “Aid to Mansarovar Pilgrims” for funding this scheme.
- Such citizens of the state who have done Kashi pilgrimage between April 2023 to June 2023 can also get the benefit of financial assistance under the Kashi Yatra Scheme.
- For this, the pilgrims will only have to provide proof of their travel to the Kashi Vishwanath temple, after which they will be informed accordingly by the concerned department.

- After this a new window will open on your screen. In this new window you have to link your Digilocker account with the Seva Sindhu Karnataka application by entering your Aadhar number details.
- Now you have to click on the “Next” option after which your Digilocker account will be linked with the Seva Sindhu account and you will be successfully registered after completing your identification process.
- After this you have to go to the homepage of Seva Sindhu again. Now you have to enter your email id/mobile number, OTP/password and captcha code details under “Apply for Service”.
