How to Find a Mentor
- Firstly you have to register under this portal, after that artificial intelligence will be used to pair mentors with startups based on industry, platform and functional capability after registration and publication of portal profile.
- Thereafter a connection request can be made to the selected mentor or Startup party, wherein once the request is accepted, the consultation can commence thereafter.
- Additionally, more than one mentor can be assigned to a startup and vice-versa.
- Multiple requests can be sent to multiple counselors at once for counseling through MAARG Portal by StartUp India.
- A fresh set of mentors will also be recommended through this, under which if no mentor responds to the request within 15 working days, the request will be withdrawn.
- You should interact with the recommended advisor, and choose an advisor for yourself.
- Guidance should be sought with each mentor at their own pace to arrange meetings and objectives.
- You can also easily control and monitor your mentoring experience by submitting reports and feedback.
- Additionally, the mentorship should last for a specified period as agreed upon between the mentor and the startup.

What Works are Being Done through MAARG Portal
Presently maarg.startupindia.gov.in portal is working in three phases, these three phases are as follows:-
- Phase 1-(Consultants), involving more than 400 experienced consultants from various fields, has been launched and implemented without any hiccups.
- Phase 2- (Onboarding phase for new businesses), the facility of onboarding of new businesses will be started from 14th November, through MAARG Portal by StartUp India.
