The Prime Minister of our country has started this commendable scheme, with the help of which financial assistance will be provided to all the eligible farmer brothers. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a total amount of six thousand rupees will be given to each marginal farmer in three installments of two thousand rupees each, in which the first installment will be released in April, second in August and final in December. Objectives of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi

Changes in Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Aadhar Card Mandatory:- Such interested farmers of the country who want to get the benefits related to PM KISAN started by the Central Government, it will be mandatory for them to have their Aadhar card. Such farmers will not be considered eligible under this scheme, who do not have their Aadhar card.
- Cultivation Limit Abolished:- In the beginning of this scheme, only such farmers were considered eligible who had 2 hectares or 5 acres of cultivable land available, but at present, the central government has abolished this limit.
- Facility to know the status:- Under this scheme, the beneficiary farmers can now check the status of their application themselves. Beneficiaries can check their application through their Aadhaar number, mobile number or bank account details only.
- Facility For Self-Registration:- In the beginning of this scheme, the beneficiaries had to make rounds of their area’s accountants, kanungos and agricultural officers to get themselves registered. The central government has now made the scheme available online, eliminating this compulsion, through which the beneficiaries can register themselves sitting at home.
- Kisan Credit Card:- All such farmer beneficiaries who have registered under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will not be required to provide any document for getting Kisan Credit Card. The economic condition of the beneficiary farmers will also improve through the Kisan Credit Card provided under this scheme.
PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Credit Card
In the year 1988, the government started the Kisan Credit Card scheme, which provides timely funds to the farmers. The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the farmers. - A family of landholder farmers is defined under the scheme guidelines as a family consisting of husband, wife and minor children who have cultivable land as per the land records of the Union Territory.

Such beneficiary farmers whose Aadhaar number has gone wrong while applying, they can correct their Aadhaar number information by following the following guidelines:-
- First of all you have to go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana, after which the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
- As soon as the homepage of the official website opens, you will get a tab of Edit Adhaar Failure Record from the Farmers Corner. Now you have to click on this option.
- After that a new page will open in front of you. On this new page, you will have to enter the details of all the required information asked, such as:- Your Aadhar Number, Captcha Code etc.
- Now after entering all the required information, you have to click on the search option. After this you can correct your Aadhaar number.

Such beneficiary farmers who are taking advantage of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be required to make a Kisan Credit Card. Interested farmers can get their Kisan Credit Card made by follow the following procedures:-
- First of all you have to go to your nearest bank branch, where your bank Kisan Samman Nidhi account is open.
- Now you have to take the application form of Kisan Credit Card from the concerned bank.
