Funding for AICTE AURA Scheme
Researchers can receive reimbursement of up to Rs 2 lakh after submitting valid payment receipts for utilizing equipment and facilities registered on the i-STEM portal. Each eligible researcher is entitled to a maximum funding limit of Rs 2 lakh for their research endeavors conducted through the scheme.
Fund Reimbursement under AICTE AURA Scheme 2024
Reimbursement bills must be submitted biennially, covering expenses incurred during the financial year from April to September (due by October 31) and from October to March (due by April 30). Researchers can claim a maximum of two reimbursements annually. The approved amount will be transferred directly to the researcher’s designated bank account using RTGS or NEFT.
Eligibility for AICTE AURA Scheme
- The scheme has no upper age limit for eligibility, ensuring accessibility for all.
- AICTE AURA Scheme 2024 enrollment is open to full-time or regular faculty members of AICTE approved schools, as well as students enrolled in AICTE’s PG Scholarship, ADF, and QIP schemes.
- Even postgraduate students from AICTE-approved institutions who are not eligible for the AICTE PG Scholarship Program can still benefit from the AICTE AURA Programme.
