Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme 2024 has been started by the Government of Telangana to provide benefits to the eligible citizens of the minority community of the state. The decision to start this scheme was taken by Chief Minister K. Objectives of TSMFC Minority 1 Lac Scheme
The main objective of Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme is to provide financial assistance to all the eligible citizens of the minority community of Telangana state. The order to provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh with 100 per cent subsidy to minority communities has been provided by the Telangana government on Sunday. - In order to provide benefits to the citizens of the minority community of the state, the announcement to start the TSMFC Minority 1 Lac Scheme has been made by the Chief Minister of the state, K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Essential Guidelines of Telangana Minority 1 Lakh Scheme
The Government of Telangana has announced the launch of the Economic Assistance Program for Minorities, under which a Government Order (GO) was presented outlining the necessary guidelines, which are as follows:-
- Applications for 100% direct subsidy of Rs 1 lakh for each eligible beneficiary through the Online Beneficiary Management and Monitoring System (OBMMS) portal were submitted during the financial year 2022-23, as against those still under consideration during the current financial year 2023-24, to be handled by the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation.
- Through this scheme 1 lakh cash 100% direct subsidy will be provided by TSMFC for the selection of Christian candidates, under this fresh applications should be requested from Christians.
- Under this, the personal age restriction is from 21 years to 55 years on June 2, 2024, for the candidates, only one member of the applicant family will be able to get the benefit of this scheme.
- The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 150,000 in rural areas and Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
- Under this, the selection process will be completed by the District Level Monitoring Committee / District Level Screening Committee, which will be headed by the District Collector.
- The District Collector will have to obtain the consent of the District In-charge Minister under the TSMFC Minority 1 Lac Scheme on behalf of the entire district.
- Apart from this, the step-by-step selection list will have to be provided on the TSMFC website, the subsidy provided through this scheme will be provided in the form of lump sum grant.
- Appropriate additional action will be taken in response by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation at Hyderabad and the Managing Directors of the Telangana State Christian (Minorities) Finance Corporation at Hyderabad.
- Further, the management and monitoring system for online beneficiaries should cover all the above eligibility requirements, it has been observed by the Center for Good Governance.
Eligibility of TSMFC Minority 1 Lac Scheme
- Under this, Christian applicants will be asked to submit fresh applications to be considered for the financial assistance program of the Telangana State Christian Minorities Finance Corporation.
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided by the government to only one member of the family.
- Only the native of Telangana state will be provided the benefit of this scheme.
- As on June 2, 2024, the individual age restriction for the candidates is fixed at 21 to 55 years.
- The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1,50,000 in rural areas.
- Apart from this, the annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
