Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2024 (e-auction)
The Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2024 (DDA e-Auction) by DDA kicked off on November 30. The deadline for submitting the EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) was December 29, and the final date to apply was January 1, 2024. A total of 3055 participants, who paid the EMD charges for the flats, are part of the e-auction process. According to the DDA notification from December anyone wishing to join the bidding had to submit EMD charges. These charges were ₹10 lakh for MIG-2BHK, ₹15 lakh for HIG-3BHK, ₹20 lakh for Super HIG-4BHK, and ₹25 lakh for Penthouse-5BHK. DDA e-Auction 2024 Pricing
The starting prices for the luxurious penthouses and super HIG apartments are set at Rs. 5 crore and Rs. 2.5 crore, respectively. HIG units have a reserve price of Rs 1.4 crore, and MIG apartments will begin at Rs 1 crore. In a departure from past DDA programs where homes were given on a first-come, first-served basis, penthouses, upscale apartments, and MIG flats in Dwarka and Lok Nayak Puram will now be distributed through an e-auction. All about DDA e-Auction 2024 Timing
- Commencing with a one-hour bidding window, the auction process seamlessly elongates by five minutes whenever a superior bid is submitted within the last five minutes.
- This iterative pattern is capped at 20 repetitions, establishing a maximum auction duration of two hours and forty minutes, combining the initial hour with an additional twenty-five minutes.
- For example, if the bidding process was originally scheduled to run from 11 AM to 12 PM and no offers were received between 11.55 AM and 12 PM, the bid closing will be extended until 12.05 PM. Furthermore, in the event that any offers are received between 12 and 12.05 PM, the bid closure will be extended until 12.10 PM. The deadline for concluding the bidding may be extended as late as 01.40 PM, since this process may be repeated up to 20 times.
- When the bidding period concludes, the system will showcase the message “Bidding Time Over” on the screen.
Increment Value Per Flat or Multiple Thereof
Each category of flat has a specified minimum increment. In simpler terms, a bidder must propose a price that is at least this amount higher than the current highest bid. In the absence of any previous offers, the bidder is required to quote at least this amount higher than the Reserve price. The following is a compilation of the incremental values: –

- On the homepage of the website first click on the login button to logged in to the official website of the DDA e-Auction.

- Clik on “Click Here” bid button on any property and again click on “Agree” button to accept terms and conditions.
- Now you will be redirected to the auction and bidding room. The residences reserved during the specified timeframe, for which you have completed and submitted your final documentation, will be accessible to you.
