On Thursday. 22nd September, a new scheme named Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme was authorized by the Himachal Pradesh government. The main objective of HP ECE Tutor Scheme 2024, recently launched by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, is to contribute to the long-term development and learning of children of 3 to 6 years enrolled in primary government schools of the state. This scheme launched by the Himachal government envisages to encourage proper brain care and stimulation in the early years to promote healthy growth and development of the child’s brain. Under the Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme, priority will be given to the socio-economically deprived districts and places of the state. Along with this, young professionals, tutors, caregivers and educational communities of the state will also be helped through this scheme. Benefits and Features of HP ECE Tutor Scheme
- Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme has been started by the Himachal Pradesh Government, under which children between the age of 3 years to 6 years enrolled in primary government schools of the state will be educated.
- This scheme of the state government envisages proper brain care and stimulation in the early years to ensure healthy growth and development of the brain of the beneficiary children.
- Through this scheme, special attention and priority will be given to the socio-economically deprived districts and places of the state.
- There is also a provision for the recruitment of pre-primary teachers under this scheme authorized by the spokesperson in the meeting of the state cabinet chaired by the Chief Minister.
- The necessary rules and eligibility criteria for the appointment of these pre-primary teachers will be decided by the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh Government.
- Till these rules are laid down by the Education Department, pre-primary teachers will be appointed on outsourcing basis through HPSEDC.
- Along with this, information was also provided by the spokesperson that the government will also make bridge courses for such candidates who have one year certificate in nursery education, pre-school education or early childhood education.
- Through this bridge course, candidates who have obtained a one year certificate in nursery education, pre-school education or early childhood education will be made eligible for this scheme.
- Eligible candidates will be appointed as pre-primary teachers under the HP ECE Tutor Scheme, who will be provided an amount of Rs 9,000 per month as salary.
- Apart from this, scientific courses have also been approved by the cabinet at Tula and Gharan, Mandi, which will authorize post construction and filling.
Himachal Pradesh Early Childhood Care Tutor Scheme Eligibility Criteria
In order to avail the benefits under any government scheme, aspirants are required to fulfill certain important eligibility criteria related to that scheme. Similarly, in order to become a teacher under the HP ECE Tutor Scheme 2024 launched by the Himachal Pradesh government, it will be mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the following eligibility criteria set by the state government:-
- In order to get benefits under this scheme launched by the Chief Minister of the state Jai Ram Thakur, candidates must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- Along with this, candidates should have a one year certificate in early childhood education, diploma of preschool education or any one of the certificates of early childhood education programme.
