Jagananna Vasathi Deevena New Circular
All Principals of the State are requested as per JNTUK JVD letter circular to obtain the consent of the candidates and the parents of the student are required to agree to any of the conditions listed below: –
- To get the laptop in place of Andhra Pradesh Janganana Vasathi Deevena program.
- Students who are not eligible for the scheme will have to purchase the laptop from their own funds.
- Denial of laptop to receive YS Jagan Vasati Deevena program amount.
Principals of the affected colleges and institutes under JNTU Kakinada have been requested to send JVD letters to the candidates and parents and to obtain signatures of the students or parents opting for any one of these options. . All interested students and parents must submit their application by contacting their college or university and submit their option on or before 24 April.
Eligibility of Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Laptop Scheme
- The institutions of all the students applying for the scheme must be affiliated to JNTU Kakinada.
- Students whose parents are government employees will not be eligible for this scheme.
- The family income of the applicant should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh per year.
- The beneficiary should not have more than 10 acres of wetland/less than 25 acres of agricultural land or less than 25 acres of wetland and agricultural land.
- The applicant should not have any four wheeler like car, taxi etc.
- If anyone in the applicant’s family is availing the benefits of any government pension scheme, the candidate will be ineligible for this scheme.
- Sanctuary workers are exempted from the scheme.
- Students studying Polytechnic, B.Tech, ITI degree and Ph.D. Students or students studying any other undergraduate program are eligible for this scheme.
- Students must be enrolled in government or government-aided institutions or private institutions affiliated to the state board.
