  • The funds are intended for purposes like starting a business, acquiring land, or building a house.
  • Their combined annual family income should not exceed Rs. 50,000.
  • Financial assistance is provided only once, and couples should be aware of this limitation.
  • Couples must apply for financial aid within one to two years of their wedding, but no later than one year.
  • Local Self Government Institutions (LSGIs) are responsible for ensuring that the funds are used for their intended purposes.
  • Upon receiving financial assistance, couples must sign an agreement and submit it to the LSGIs.
