Social Justice and Special Assistance Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to the students of Maharashtra, the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance (SJSA) offers the five scholarships under the MahaDBT. Eligibility Criteria Under MahaDBT Scholarship
Students who are native of Maharashtra are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Any candidate who wants to get this scholarship should have completed 10th class from any recognized board. You must have passed your SSC/Matriculation from a recognized college/institute to claim the scholarship schemes under the mentioned departments and universities.
Directorate of Technical Education Scholarship
We all know that generally technical education is more expensive than general education, and there are many students in our country who despite being good in education are unable to pursue further studies in technical education. So the Directorate of Technical Education of Maharashtra offers 2 types of scholarships for the students who are going through technical education like engineering, biotechnology, architecture etc. Under this MahaDBT scholarship scheme by the government, students get various types of financial aid so that they can continue their studies. School Education and Sports Department
To enable and motivate the students to continue their education under this scheme launched by the state government. The Department of School Education and Sports offers two types of scholarships which are Open Merit Scholarship in Junior College and Merit Scholarship for Economically Backward Class students. All the students who are eligible to apply under these MahaDBT scholarship schemes are required to visit the Maha DBT portal. It is advised to those students of the state who want to take advantage of this, they have to fulfill the eligibility given below:-

Higher education scholarship scheme can be availed by only those students who want to pursue higher education and through this MahaDBT scholarship scheme financial aid will be given to all those students who cannot afford to pursue their higher education due to financial issues. There are 13 types of scholarships are offered by the Directorate of Higher Education for the students of Maharashtra and only domicile of Maharashtra can avail this scheme by the state government.

Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DHE) | If the applicant wants to take advantage of this scholarship, then he should be a native of Maharashtra. For vocational courses, applicants who are children of registered workers or underprivileged or both are eligible. The annual income of the family/guardian by the State Government should not exceed Rs.8 lakh. Its benefit will be provided only if the applicant is not getting the benefit of any other subsistence allowance benefit and the applicant must attempt every semester or annual examination. |

MAFSU Nagpur
The MAFSU Nagpur Scholarship launched by the government is provided to all the students who belong to the economically weaker section of the society. This scholarship is funded by the government through Maharashtra University of Animal and Fisheries Sciences. The Directorate of Arts Scholarship launched by the government is for all the students who have taken admission in the courses under the Directorate of Arts category. The benefit of this scholarship is given to the students who belong to the minority community and under this scholarship scheme by the state government, 3 types of scholarships are provided to the minority students who are the State Minorities Scholarship Part II Minorities pursuing higher and professional courses. There are scholarships for community students and scholarships for students from minority communities doing high and professional. Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department
There is only one scholarship under the Department of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship which is provided by the Department of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship which is vocational training fee reimbursement for socially and educationally backward class and open category students. Under this scholarship scheme by the state government, benefits will be provided to the students taking admission in government ITI and private ITI through central admission process.

Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri Scholarship scheme
Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth Scholarship is awarded by the state government to the students of the state who are the children of farmers from economically backward classes and through centralized admission process to take admission in Diploma / Degree / Post Graduate / Professional courses and further studies want. Under this scholarship scheme, various types of financial incentives are provided to those students by the state government in the form of reimbursement of tuition fees, examination fees etc. There are two types of scholarship scheme offered by Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri which are Rajshree Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shiksha Shulak Shishyavrati. This scheme and Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Nirvah Bhatta Yojana, by which the state is given benefits to all those students, so friends, if you want to take benefits under this scheme, then students are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance | To get benefits under this scholarship started by the Government of Maharashtra, the applicant should not take advantage of any other type of scholarship provided by the government, only then the benefit of this scheme will be provided. Only two children of a family can apply for this scholarship scheme. Under this scheme by the state government the annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs 800000, the candidate must have obtained at least 50% attendance in the previous semester, after that will be considered eligible to apply. The candidate should not have a gap of more than two or more years during the duration of the course. The applicant must be a national of India and a domicile of Maharashtra by the state government. Candidates must be genuine students of the institute and admitted for professional and non-professional and technical courses. Deemed universities and private universities are not applicable. The applicant must be admitted by the state government through a centralized admission process only after that he will be considered eligible. |

- On the homepage of the website, you have to give the option of “Post Matric Scholarship>> New Applicant Registration“. After this, a new page will open in front of you.
- Here on this page you can see a registration form. Fill the form with all the required details.
- Now, enter your email ID and press the Get OTP for Email ID Verification tab. Now enter the OTP send on your email ID and verify it.
- After this you need to enter your Mobile Number. Now press the Get OTP for Mobile Number Verification tab.
- An OTP will be send to you on your mobile number. Enter this OTP in the OTP Box and Press the register tab.
- After the successful registration process you can login on the portal with your email id and password.
- Now, you need to authenticate your Aadhaar number through OTP or Biometric.
- After this a dashboard with available scholarships will open in front of you. Choose the scholarship you want to apply for.
- Press the Apply button and a form will open in front of you on your device screen.
- Fill this form and go to All Schemes section. Choose the scholarship you want to apply for.
- Now again an application form will open in front of you. Fill this form and submit your application.
