Objective of Jammu Kashmir Parvaaz Scheme
The main objective of Parvaaz Scheme 2024 is to provide financial assistance to the students who are taking coaching for IAS and other competitive examinations of the state. All those students who want to avail the benefit of scholarship provided under this scheme can apply under it by visiting the official website. On the basis of the marks obtained by all the students in the entrance examination or qualifying examination, the students will be selected by the organization under JK Parvaaz Scheme. Additionally, after submitting the application, students will also have to go through the document verification round to be eligible for the exam.

PARVAAZ IAS/KAS
All such students of the state who are currently undergoing coaching for IAS and other competitive examinations will be provided financial assistance by the state government. All interested students can apply through the official website, the students will be selected on the basis of the score they get in the entrance exam or qualifying exam. After submitting the application under JK Parvaaz Scheme students will also have to go through the document verification round to be eligible for the exam.
Eligibility for PARVAAZ IAS/KAS
- The age limit applicable under this will be the age limit of competitive examination till 01.01.2023, along with this, in case of students belonging to reserved category, age relaxation will be applicable subject to submission/uploading of necessary category certificate issued by the competent authority.
- The student must have at least one attempt remaining and must submit an affidavit in this regard during the online application.
- The eligibility criteria for Civil Services Examination (IAS/KAS) will be the applicable eligibility criteria. Free coaching is offered by the government for this.
- Scanned copy of relevant certificates like mark sheet, provisional certificate, transcript of marks, result card etc. will be required to be uploaded by the candidates for completion of prescribed degree i.e. graduation. Proof of acquiring the prescribed educational qualification on or before the last date of submission of application, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be canceled. Candidates who can prove by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the last date of submission of application form and that they have been declared passed, will also be considered to have satisfied the educational qualification.
- In case of candidates claiming equivalent educational qualification, it will be mandatory to produce relevant equivalence certificates from the concerned competent authorities at the time of document verification. The final decision regarding selection of such candidates will be taken by the CEO of Mission Youth considering the relevant rules which will be binding.
- To be considered under the Scheme, a candidate must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must have a domicile certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed for the purpose. He has to upload it while submitting online application
- Only those candidates whose total family income from all sources does not exceed ₹8.00 lakh per annum will be eligible for free coaching under the scheme.
- The candidate must have an online digitally signed family income certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed for this purpose.
- Income certificate must have been issued on or after 01.01.2023. Candidates declared eligible will have to upload the income certificate online after the release of the list of provisionally eligible candidates.
- Only those candidates who submit the income certificate within the stipulated time will be considered for admission to the coaching programme. No alternative document will be accepted in place of income certificate and submission/upload of any such document will lead to rejection of the application.

Parwaaz NEET/JEE
Currently, students who have passed 12th class are provided financial assistance by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir through JK Parvaaz Scheme. Under this, students will get free coaching for NEET UG examination and Joint Entrance Examination conducted by NTA, under this all interested students can easily apply by visiting the official website. With the launch of Parvaaz Scheme in the state, now all the students will be able to continue their education without worrying about financial constraints. All those students of the state who really perform well in the examination will be provided the benefit of financial assistance through this scheme.
Parwaaz NEET/JEE Eligibility
- Under this, the age limit will be applicable for NEET (UG) and JEE examinations, if there is any limit on attempts then the same will be applicable as per the examination.
- Citizens wishing to apply under this should have passed 12th.
- Relevant certificates of completion of 12th class such as mark sheet, mark certificate/transcript, result card etc. should be produced by the candidates wishing to apply under this scheme as proof of passing 12th class on or before the last date of application submission. Scanned copies should be uploaded under. The applications of the applicants who do not do this will be rejected, the candidates who prove by documentary evidence that the 12th result was declared on or before the last date of submission of application and that they have been declared passed, will also be rejected. Will be considered as having completed the educational qualification.

Selection Process under JK Parvaaz Scheme
- IAS/JKAS:- Under this, the students will be selected only on the basis of merit in the entrance examination conducted for this purpose. A separate notification will be issued regarding the date and conduct of PQT, wherein the document verification will be done after the PQT and the final selection list will be released after the document verification.
- NEET/JEE:- Under this, students will be selected only on the basis of percentage of marks of class 10th and 12th, document verification of eligible candidates will be done as per the eligibility scheme and the final selection list will be released after document verification.
