Note – Let us inform that today, 11-06-2023 from 01 PM, the Shakti Smart Card scheme has been fully implemented. All women can travel free of cost by showing their photo identity to the bus conductor.

Objectives of Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card

The main objective of Shakti Smart Card Karnataka 2024 is to provide free bus service facility to all the women of the state. This will make travel easier for all the women of the state, in addition to this, free travel can be done conveniently with the help of Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card 2024 by all the women of the state. Through this, all the women of the state will be able to become self-reliant and empowered.

Benefits of Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card

• With the help of Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card, all the women of the state can travel free of cost in buses.
• With the help of this card provided under this scheme, the identity of the beneficiary in the state will be known.
• Apart from this, this card issued by the state government will act as a proof that the person receiving the benefit of this card is a native of the state of Karnataka only.

Government Guidelines for Shakti Smart Card

• Apart from state air-conditioned (AC) and luxury buses like Rajhansa, Non-AC Sleeper, Vajra, Vayu Vajra, Airavat, Airavat Club Class, Airavat Gold Class, Ambari, Ambari Utsav, Flybus, EV Power etc. will be provided through buses.
• Under this, 50 per cent seats are reserved for male road transport corporation, except Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses, Kalyana Karnataka buses (Interstate, AC and (except in luxury buses) will be reserved.
• In addition, road transport corporations will be reimbursed based on the actual distance traveled by women passengers.
• The process of receiving applications and issuing Shakti Smart Cards through this portal will be completed within the next three months.
• Identity card issued by Government of India/Government of Karnataka with photograph and residential address will be considered for issue of Void ticket till Shakti Smart Card is issued.

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of Seva Sindhu Portal i,e https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in, after that the homepage of the website will open in front of you.

• On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of Apply for Shakti Smart Card, after that the next page will open in front of you.
• Now you have to enter your login details if you are already registered, under this if you are not already registered on the portal then you have to click on the new registration option.
• Then you have to enter the details to be filled in the application form, now after successful registration, login with the details and apply for the card.
