TN Thirumana Uthavi Thittam Status 2024
- Under this scheme, a check of 25000 thousand and an 8 gram gold coin will be provided by the government to the eligible girls. Which is enough for a poor family because there is no demand for poor families, they keep only essential things in their daily needs and marriage.
- All the families whose annual income is less than 70000 thousand can apply under this scheme.

Types of Tamil Nadu Marriage Assistance Scheme
Under the TN Marriage Assistance Scheme 2024, the Tamil Nadu state government has included 5 types of marriage schemes, which are as follows:-
Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme
If the beneficiary bride has studied 10th class (if the bride belongs to the scheduled tribe then she should have studied class 5th) then the state government provides them an amount of Rs 25000 as financial assistance under this scheme. Also, if the bride is a diploma holder from a regular college or distance education or an open university recognized by the government or an institution recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, then in this situation the state government provides an amount of Rs 50000 to her as financial assistance. To take advantage of this scheme, the annual income of the beneficiary bride’s family should not exceed Rs 72000.[
Dr. Dharmambal Ammaiyar Ninaivu Widow Remarriage Assistance Scheme
- Under this scheme, the Tamil Nadu state government will benefit such widowed women of the state who remarry. An amount of Rs 25000 is provided to the beneficiary women as financial assistance through this scheme. Out of the amount of financial assistance received under this scheme, an amount of Rs 15000 is provided to the beneficiary through direct benefit transfer and the remaining Rs 10000 along with National Saving Certificate for making Thirumangalam 4 grams 22 Carats are provided in the form of gold coins
- Under this scheme, if the beneficiary bride has a degree or diploma as an educational qualification, then in this situation she will be provided a total financial assistance of Rs 50000, out of which Rs 30000 is given in the form of direct benefit transfer and the remaining amount which is 20,000 rupees are given for making a 4 gram 22 carat gold coin along with the National Savings Certificate
EVR Maniammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme
The benefit of this scheme of the state government is provided to the daughters of the widowed women citizens of the state. If the bride has completed high school education, then under this scheme, she is provided financial assistance of Rs 25000 and such brides who have done graduation or diploma are provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000. Annai Theresa Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Scheme
Under this scheme, the orphan girls of the state will be benefited by the state government. Through this scheme of the Tamil Nadu state government, financial assistance of Rs 25000 will be provided to such orphan girls who have completed their high school education at the time of their marriage. Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme
- Under this scheme of the Tamil Nadu state government, inter-caste married couples of the state will be benefited. Through this scheme financial assistance of Rs.25000 is provided to the beneficiary couple, out of which Rs.15000 as Direct Benefit Transfer and remaining amount of Rs.10000 in the form of National Saving Certificate and 4 grams 22 carat for making Thirumangalam Offered in the form of gold coins.
- If the beneficiary couple is a degree or diploma holder, then in this situation they are provided financial assistance of Rs 50000 under the scheme. Out of this financial assistance amount, Rs 30000 will be given as Direct Benefit Transfer and Rs 20000 will be made available as National Savings Certificate along with 4 gm 22 carat gold coin for making Thirumangalam.
- There is no compulsion of age limit or minimum education qualification for the beneficiaries to get the benefits related to this scheme of the state government. Generally inter-caste marriages are divided into two categories:-
- First category:- In this, one of the married couples should belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe community.
- Second Category:- In this category one of the husband or wife should belong to a general or other community and the other spouse should belong to BC/MBC.

- Tamilnadu Marriage Assistance Scheme 2024 has been started by the Tamil Nadu State Government, under which various other assistance will be provided along with financial assistance at the time of marriage of daughters of poor and financially weak families of the state.

- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu state
- Only orphan girls of the state can get the benefit of this scheme.
- There is no income limit for availing the benefits under this scheme.
