Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana 2024
Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana has been started by the State Government of Maharashtra, under which the outstanding electricity bills will be recovered from the electricity consumers of the state. Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana will be operated from 1st March to 31st August 2024, under which all such customers except agriculture customers will be provided interest and late fee waiver on their outstanding electricity bills whose electricity connections were cut permanently before 31st December. Objective of Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana
The main objective of Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana 2024 launched by Mahavitaran is to recover the outstanding electricity bill by giving waiver of late fee and interest on electricity bills of customers. Under this scheme, the outstanding electricity bill will be recovered from all such customers, whose electricity connection was permanently disconnected before December 31. Through this scheme launched by the Government of Maharashtra, the customers of the state will be encouraged to pay their outstanding electricity bills. Along with this, consumers will also be given the option to pay 30% of their electricity bill in one go and the remaining amount in 6 installments. Giving a stern warning to the customers of the state, Mahavitaran has said that criminal cases will be registered against all such customers whose electricity connection has been permanently disconnected and even after this they are using it by taking electricity connection from the neighbor. According to the information, only in Nagpur circle till January 2024, 1,55,996 such customers have been found, who have an outstanding amount of Rs 225.97 crore. Discounts to be provided under Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana 2024
Let us tell you that under the Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana started by Mahavitaran, some discounts are also being provided to the customers on the payment of outstanding electricity bills. Under this scheme, the government will provide 100% rebate in interest and late fee to the customers on depositing the outstanding principal in one go. Along with this, an additional 5% discount will be provided to such customers who have high-tension connections available and a 10% discount of the principal amount will be provided to low-tension customers. The government has also provided the facility to the customers to deposit 30 percent of the principal balance in one go and deposit the remaining amount in 6 installments. - Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana has been started by the Government of Maharashtra, under which the outstanding electricity bill will be recovered from the consumers.
- Under this scheme, the Maharashtra government will recover the outstanding electricity bill from all such customers, except agricultural customers of the state, whose electricity connection was permanently disconnected before December 31.

Procedure to Apply under Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana 2024
Eligible candidates from the state of Maharashtra who want to apply to get the benefits under the recently launched Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana by the state government, it will be mandatory for them to follow the following guidelines:-
- First of all you have to visit the official website of Mahavitaran. Now the home page of the website will be displayed in front of you.
- On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “New User Registration” given on the left side. After this a registration application form will open on your screen.
- Now you have to enter the details of all the necessary information asked in this registration form, such as:- Your customer number, mobile number, email id, login name, password etc.
- After that you have to click on the option of “Submit”. Now you have to click on the “Login” option.
- Now the login page will be displayed on your screen. In this login page, you have to enter the details of your login credentials such as:- User Name, Password and Captcha Code.
- After that you have to click on the option of “Login”. Now the Accounts page will open in front of you where you have added the consumer number.
- On this accounts page you have to select the subscriber number for which you want to avail the scheme. After this you have to click on the option of “Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh Abhay Yojana”.
- Now an application form will open on your screen. In this application form, you have to enter the details of all the required information asked.
