Mukhyamantri Swa Niyojan Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa to help the small businesses of the state to get off the ground. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be provided by the state government to help the entrepreneurs to run their business. About 1 lakh entrepreneurs will be covered under this scheme over a period of three years, installments will be paid as seed capital investment to the recipients of the program by the Government of Assam.
