Assam Scooty Scheme 2024
The Assam State government has launched Assam Scooty Scheme or Pragati Bharti Scheme 2024 to provide scooters to meritorious girl students. Only those meritorious girl students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2024 in the first class are eligible. Students are given the option to choose one of the petrol scooters or electrical ones. Assam State Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that education helps people to add value to their personality. He urged the students to develop their innovative skills to succeed in life. Objective of Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme 2024
The main objective of starting this Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme 2024 is to provide appropriate resources to all girl students studying in the state of Assam. The scheme will encourage girls to pursue higher education and become independent on their own. The number of benefits provided under the scheme will encourage students. Benefits of Assam Pragyan Bharti Scooty Scheme
- First, the Assam government will provide free textbooks, uniforms and all other requirements to all the beneficiaries for going to school.
- The Assam government has given Rs. 1,000 to 1 lakh students will be given for textbooks.
- Rupees. 1500 and Rs. 2,000 textbook incentives will be provided for students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Assam government will give Rs. 1000 per month all students will go towards the dues of their mess.
- Lump sum education loan amount of Rs. 50,000 will be provided
- Scooters will be provided to 20,000 meritorious women students studying in 12th standard.
- All admissions from higher secondary level to postgraduate level will be made absolutely free for all students for the academic year.
- This free admission will also be applicable for courses like Medical, Engineering and Polytechnic.

- Applicant must be female
- The candidate should get first class in Class 12 Government School Examination of Assam State
- Applicant should study in a government school in Assam
