AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2024
All India Council for Technical Education has launched a program to help economically disadvantaged candidates complete their education. Children who are orphans, or children of martyrs, or whose parents both or one of their parents have died as a result of the spread of COVID19, all of them will be given benefits under the AICTE Swanath Scholarship by the government. . Benefits of AICTE Swanath Scholarship
Applicants who are selected for AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024 will get the following benefits:-
- Under AICTE Swanath Scholarship the candidate will get Rs. 50000/- annually in total payment towards college fees, purchase of stationery, books, equipment, software, laptop and other expenses. However, no extra payment will be made for accommodation, medical charges etc.
- Degree students will get the scholarship for four years. However, the following condition applies,
- If the student is currently enrolled in the second year of the degree, the student will only receive the scholarship for 3 years.
- If the student is currently enrolled in the third year of the degree, then the student will receive the AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme for 2 years only.
- If the student is currently enrolled in the fourth year of the degree, the student will receive the scholarship for only 1 year, diploma students will receive the scholarship for three years. However, the following condition applies.
- If the student is currently enrolled in the second year of diploma, then the student will receive the AICTE Swanath Scholarship for 2 years only.
- If the student is currently enrolled in the 3rd year of the Diploma, the student will receive the scholarship for 1 year only.

Eligibility Criteria of AICTE Swanath Scholarship
All the applicants who want to apply under the AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by them.
- To take benefit under AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2024, the applicant must be a native of India.
- Applicants who are orphans, or who are children of martyrs, or whose parents both or one of their parents die as a result of the spread of COVID-19, can apply under AICTE Swanath Scholarship.
- Applicant’s family income from all sources should be less than 8 lakhs per annum.
- To take benefit under this scheme, the applicant must have a valid income certificate which is issued by the state or union territory government.
- Under AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024, the applicant should be currently a student of any AICTE recognized college or institute, after that you will be given the benefit.
- He/she should regularly study diploma or degree level programs then only will be considered eligible to apply under AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme.
- The applicant must not have applied or taken the scholarship from any other source and the applicants who are studying any course through correspondence or specialized education are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2024 Required Documents
For Orphan Students
- Applicant’s death certificate from both the parents, father and mother.
- Bonafed Certificate issued by AICTE recognized college or institute.
- The notarized affidavit mentions the details as per the format attached on the stamp paper of Rs.100/-.
- 10th and 12th mark sheet or its equivalent mark sheet for degree level courses.
- 10th class mark sheet or its equivalent mark sheet for diploma level courses.
- Category Certificate if applicable SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL.
For Students whose parents have died due to COVID-19
- Applicant’s death certificate of parents, father and mother, or one of them.
- The death certificate mentions that the death was due to COVID-19.
- If one of the parents is alive as father or mother, the income certificate for the current year showing that the family income of the applicant from all sources is less than Rs.8 lakh per annum.
- Bonafed Certificate issued by AICTE recognized college or institute.
- 10th and 12th mark sheet or its equivalent mark sheet for degree level courses.
- 10th class mark sheet or its equivalent mark sheet for diploma level courses.
- Category Certificate if applicable SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL.
