Objectives of Apun Bahan Scheme Assam 2024
The main objective of Apun Bahan Assam Scheme is to provide interest subvention on auto loans to all eligible employees of the state. Through this scheme, motor vehicle loans can be easily availed by all eligible government employees of the state with 2% interest subsidy. Apart from this, motor vehicle loans with 3% interest subsidy will be provided to women and disabled employees of the state through Apun Bahan Scheme Assam 2024, a budget of Rs 12 crore has been fixed by the state government for the smooth operation of this scheme. Benefits and Features of Apun Bahan Scheme Assam
- Under the Apun Bahan Scheme Assam started by the Government of Assam, if diesel or petrol vehicles are purchased by the employee citizens, then in that case they will be provided 2% interest subsidy.
- Under this, 3% incentive will be provided to the eligible citizens on the purchase of electric vehicles, along with this, 3% interest subsidy will be provided to women employees and disabled employees of the state.
- The maximum amount of loan to be provided through Apun Bahan Assam Scheme will be Rs 15 lakh or 48 times of their net monthly income, whichever is less.
- Apart from this, 36,159 employees of the state have got the benefit of this scheme launched by the Government of Assam, in contrast to which the total loan portfolio of this scheme is 4,984 crores.
- An allocation of around Rs 108 crore has been made by the state government for government employees to take home and vehicle loans.
