MPIGR Stamp Duty and Registration
One of the most important and financially successful divisions in the state of Madhya Pradesh is the MPIGR, or Madhya Pradesh Inspector General of Registration. It is under the Department of Registration and Stamps (MPIGRS), Zonal Deputy Inspector General of Registration is in charge of four regional offices of the Registration Department at Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Indore. Apart from this, 51 District Registrar Offices and 234 Sub Registrar Offices are available in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Under this, there are all officers under the direction of the Inspector General of Registration, the office of these officers is in Bhopal. Estates under MPIGR
A comprehensive computerization and digitization initiative in the state of Madhya Pradesh is called SAMPADA, or Stamps and Management of Property and Documents Application for document registration and e-stamping. Through the MPIGR system “e-Stamp” is used to deposit the fee. In addition, all services including calculation of stamp duty and registration fee for various types of documents, property valuation and slot booking in the office of the sub-registrar are available through SAMPADA, an electronic registration system across the state. The process of viewing and downloading copies of digitally signed registered papers is made easy by approved and authorized service providers. In addition, licenses for service providers can also be granted to financial institutions such as banks and post offices.
