Benefits and Features of National Sports Talent Search Scheme

National Sports Talent Search Scheme 2024 has been started by the Government of India, which is operated by the Sports Authority of India.
Through this scheme, young talents from all over the country are identified and developed by the Sports Authority.

I am over 21 years old. Can I also apply?

What type of tests will the training center take?

All the information is available on the online portal, as for each sport, there is a separate test, so you can check the list of skill tests conducted for the discipline under your sport.

I haven’t achieved anything in my sports field yet. Am I still eligible to apply for any scheme?

Yes of course, there is no such rule, that you can apply only if you have achieved something in the sports field, that’s why if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for National Sports Talent Hunt, then you can apply for the scheme.

When and where will the selection tests take place?

The selection tests under the scheme will be held at the Primary Training Centers, and for this you have to choose the Primary Training Center. Your application will be scrutinized by the officials, and then you will be shortlisted for the tests. You will then be notified via email.
