Nai Roshni Scheme 2024
Under the Nai Roshni Scheme 2024 launched by the Central Government, the work of development and upliftment of women belonging to minority communities of the country will be done. Through this scheme, various types of leadership development training will be provided to the women belonging to minority communities to make them independent and self-confident. Under the Nai Roshni Scheme, women will be provided with the necessary knowledge, tools and techniques for leadership development, so that their livelihood can be uplifted. - The smooth operation of this scheme is done by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, under which financial firms are provided to the beneficiary women.

Objective of Nai Roshni Scheme
Nai Roshni Scheme 2024 has been started by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, whose main objective is to make the minority women of the country strong, confident and self-reliant. Through this scheme, the beneficiary women will be provided with the knowledge, tools and techniques to interact with government systems, banks and other institutions at all different levels. Nurturing and Hand Holding under Non-Residential Training
Nurturing and Hand Holding under Nai Roshni Scheme 2024 is as follows :-
- The post training service of nutrition and hand holding will be provided by the organization for a period of one year.
- This training will be provided to such women who have received leadership development training.
- During the duration of the project the facilitators of the organization should visit the village or locality to assist the empowered women at least once a month and also need to hold meetings with the women.
- Along with this, Mahila Mandal, Mahila Sabha, Self Help Group etc. will also be formed from the group of trainees.
- Various types of regular meetings will be organized with Mahila Mandals, Mahila Sabhas, Self Help Groups.
- Apart from this, the records of meetings, attendance, photos etc. will also be kept by the agency of Nai Roshni Scheme.
Benefits and Features of Nai Roshni Scheme
- Nai Roshni Scheme 2024 has been started by the Ministry of Minority Affairs of the Central Government, under which economic and social assistance is provided to the women belonging to the minority community of the country.
- Through this scheme, various training facilities will be made available to the minority women to make them strong, confident and leadership capable.
- Under this scheme of the central government, women will be provided with knowledge, tools and techniques through various training programs for leadership development.
- Along with this, various types of leadership development training modules, such as:- Life Skills, Health and Sanitation, Digital India, Economic Empowerment etc. have also been included under this scheme.
- Under this scheme of the Government of India, training is provided to the beneficiary women through training institutes.
- Through this scheme, only 25 women are selected in a batch from a village under the training program to be received by the beneficiary women.
- Along with this, it is mandatory for at least 10% of the total 25 women of a batch to have passed class 10th class or its equivalent.
- Also the organization is not allowed to submit proposals for training a group of 5 batches of trainees under this training programme.
- Under this training program, only a maximum of 5 women of a village can be selected.
- Since the inception of Nai Roshni Scheme, about 3.37 lakh minority women have been benefited.
- In the year 2016-17, the amount of budget allocation for training under this scheme was Rs 1500 lakh and the amount of expenditure was Rs 1472 lakh.
- Along with this, in the year 2017-18, the budget allocation for training was increased to Rs 1700 lakh and expenditure was recorded at Rs 1519 lakh.
- In the year 2018-19, Rs 17 lakh was allocated and Rs 1383 lakh was spent.
- In the year 2019-20, the amount of allocation was Rs 1000 lakh and the amount of expenditure was Rs 710 lakh and in the year 2020-21 Rs 600 lakh was allocated while an amount of Rs 600 lakh was also spent.
Eligibility of Organization under Nai Roshni Scheme 2024
- It will be mandatory for the organization to have prior experience and resources to arrange residential training for the beneficiary minority women.
- In addition, the organization will need to have access, motivation, dedication, manpower and resources to conduct training in the village or areas. ,
- The selected organization will be required to be constantly involved in the availability of facilitators.
- Along with this, the personnel of the selected organization will have to visit the village or locality from time to time.
- The organization will also arrange residential training courses for eligible women.

To apply under Nai Roshni Scheme 2024, it will be mandatory for you to follow the following procedures:-
- First of all you have to go to the official website of Nai Roshni Scheme. Now the home page of the website will open in front of you.
- On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “New User Registration” under the login section. After this a pop up box will open in front of you.
- Now you have to click on the option of “Proceed” given in this pop up box. After this a new page will be displayed on your screen.
- On this new page, you have to enter the details of all the required information asked. Now you have to upload all the required documents.
- After this you have to click on the option of “Submit”, after which you can apply under Nai Roshni Scheme 2024.
