Number of TB Patients in India
When a report on patients was published this year in 2024, it became clear that there has been an increase of 19 percent in TB cases this year as compared to last year. Seeing the increase in every year of the cruel disease like TB, the Minister Modi had announced in 2018 that by the coming year 2030, India will eliminate TB by 2025, five years before the worldwide target and to fulfill this objective. Implementation of Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
Any interested person, a corporate entity, NGO, elected official, political party, institution who will be a part of PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2024 will take care of TB patients, they will be given financial help by the government. Under the financial assistance received in this campaign, a monthly donation facility will be made available to TB patients with 3.5 kg food grains, 1 liter cooking oil, 1.5 kg pulses, milk powder, eggs, fruits and vegetables, among other items.The Health Minister has also appreciated this PMTBMB a lot and PM Modi can also announce the program about this campaign in a virtual event between August 20 and August 24. 9 lakh out of 13.5 lakh TB Patients ready to receive Aid: Government Data
PM Modi has expressed his happiness while launching the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2024 and has also ensured that this campaign will be released very fast. With this the work of this campaign has also started, for about 13.5 lakh TB patients, more than nine lakhs are expected to receive help from “Nikshay Mitras” according to government data.
As per the data, under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, 447 people, 122 non-profit organizations, 29 corporations, 19 institutions, 18 elected officials, 10 political parties and 4 cooperatives have agreed to adopt patients and patients for one year. And it is expected that very soon India will be free from this cruel disease.
