Ts ePass Scholarship has been started by the Government of Telangana to provide benefits to the students of its state, it is a scholarship portal. Objectives of Ts ePass Scholarship

The main objective of Ts ePass Scholarship 2024 is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes, Minorities and Physically Challenged students of the state. Through this scheme, scholarships will be provided to SC, ST, backward class, economically backward class, minorities and physically challenged students of the state. Eligibility for Ts ePass Scholarship

The citizen who wants to get the benefit of this scheme must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
The person applying must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority category.
Annual family income should not exceed Rs.2 lakh for SC/ST category citizens and Rs.1.50 lakh (rural area) and Rs.2 lakh (urban area) for BC/EBC category.
Under this, applications can also be made by physically challenged students whose family income is less than or equal to Rs 1 lakh.
In addition, 75% attendance in each quarter is mandatory to apply for the scholarship.

Ineligibility of Ts ePass Scholarship 2024

The following students of Telangana state are not eligible to get the benefit of Ts ePass Scholarship 2024:-

Students of Telangana state belonging to any category other than disabled, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, backward class, economically backward class cannot get the benefit of this scholarship.
Such students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes whose family income is more than Rs 2 lakh are ineligible under this.
Such students who are backward class, economic backward class and minority and they are living in rural areas whose family annual income is more than Rs 150000 are also ineligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
Backward Classes, Economically Backward Classes and Disabled Students studying in MBBS, BDS courses offered by Open University, Distance Mode, Category B Seats.
Family annual income is more than Rs.2 lakh and students belonging to backward class, economically backward class and minority students living in urban areas.
Apart from this, students who are handicapped and whose family income is more than Rs.100000.
Students pursuing part time courses and online courses are also ineligible.
All the students who were given admission under sponsored seats on management quota seats are also ineligible.
Students receiving scholarships are also ineligible to get the benefit of this scheme which is more than the scholarship amount.

Under this, the physical verification process is conducted twice a year by the field officer.
Students are required to visit the concerned department after submitting the online application for physical verification.
