About Bangla Awas Yojana List
Government of West Bengal has released Bangla Awas Yojana New List. All those whose names will appear in this list will be given their own houses by the state government. Bangla Awas Yojana has been started in support of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under which more than 10 lakh houses will be constructed by the state government by the year 2024. Objectives of Bangla Awas Yojana List
The main objective of releasing the Bangla Awas Yojana list is to provide own housing to those families who do not have a house to live in. Some Important Details Regarding Bangla Awas Yojana New List
- Under this program started by the Government of West Bengal, the help of SBMG, MGNREGA or any other dedicated source of funds will be taken for the construction of toilets.
- Along with this, the facility of drinking water pipe, electricity connection and LPG gas connection will also be provided to the beneficiaries through various other government programs.
- Under this program, 60% of the cost of unit assistance in the plain areas will be borne by the Central Government and 40% by the State Governments.
- 90% of the cost of unit assistance for North Eastern and Himalayan states will be borne by the Central Government and the remaining 10% by the State Governments.
- The central government will allocate 90% of the funds under this program to the state government with 4% administrative expenditure.
- Along with this, the annual allocation to the state will be approved by the empowered committee on the basis of their annual action plan.
