Benefits and Features of PM Yashasvi Scholarship 2024
- The PM Yashasvi Scholarship Program has been started to provide financial assistance to the students of economically weaker sections of the country.
- Through this scholarship program, a scholarship of Rs 75,000 to class 11 students and Rs 125,000 to class 11 students of the country will be provided by the central government.
- This scheme has been started by the Central Government only to provide financial assistance to the students of class 9th and 11th of the country.
- Scholarships provided by the Central Government under PM Yashasvi Scholarship 2024 are transparent, and the testing of these scholarship programs is conducted according to international standards.
- Apart from this, the applicants eligible for the benefit of this scholarship will be selected by the Central Government in the form of a written examination, on passing this examination, the benefit of the scholarship will be provided to the students.
Eligibility for PM Yashasvi Scholarship
- Citizens wishing to get the benefit of this scheme should be a native of India.
- Applicants belonging to OBC, ABC DNT SAR, NT, SNT etc. categories of the country will be given the benefit of this program.
- Under this, the annual income of the family of the citizens applying should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided by the Central Government only to the students of class 9th and 11th of the country, under this, the date of birth of the applicant of class 9th should be between 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2008.
- On the contrary, the date of birth of applicants for 11th class should be between 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2008.
- Additionally, to avail the benefits of this program, the candidate must have completed Class VIII in 2024 to appear for the Class X exam.
