About AP YSR Asara Scheme 2024
This scheme was started by the Andhra Pradesh government for the women of the state. Through the YSR Asara Scheme, financial assistance is to be provided to the poor women of the state in the form of loan waiver. Objectives of AP YSR Asara Scheme
AP YSR Asara Scheme was started by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on 11th September 2020. The main objective of this scheme is to provide loan waiver facility to the destitute women (SHGs) of Andhra Pradesh state under this scheme. Benefits & Features of Andhra Pradesh YSR Asara Scheme
- YSR Aasara Scheme has been launched by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, through which financial benefits will be provided to women
- Under this scheme, the benefit of financial assistance will be provided to the destitute women (SHGs) of Andhra Pradesh state.
- This will create a sense of empowerment and self-reliance among the women of the state and they will get rid of debt at high interest rates.
- A decision has been taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to spend Rs 25,383 crore under this scheme in the next 4 years.
- Only 90000 women will be provided benefits through this AP YSR Aasara Yojana.
- 6345.87 crore has been released by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy ji for the first installment for the destitute women (SHGs) of the state.
- The amount provided through YSR Asara Scheme 2024 will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of women in 4 installments.
Eligibility of AP YSR Asara Scheme
- It is mandatory for the applicant to be a permanent resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- Applicant’s age should be 45 years 60 years to apply under AP YSR Aasara Yojana.
- The applicant applying should belong to the Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes / Economically Backward Classes.
- Only those women who are members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) can take advantage of this scheme, so before applying they have to become a member of Self Help Groups (SHGs).
- To get the benefit under YSR Asara Scheme 2024, the female beneficiary should have taken the loan before 11th April 2019.
