Under the Amma Vodi Scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the mother in every family living below the poverty line so that she can educate her child from class 1 to 10 in various private and non-private government aided educational institutions. Amma Vodi List January Update
Under the second phase of this scheme, about 44 lakh women in the state will be provided financial assistance of Rs 15,000 by the government to send their children to school. Out of the amount of 15000 coming in the account of all the eligible women of this scheme, 1000 rupees are withdrawn for the improvement and maintenance of toilet facilities in the school, a budget of 6400 crores has been kept for the smooth operation of this scheme. Objective of Amma Vodi Scheme

Laptop Instead of Financial Assistance Under Amma Vodi
All the beneficiaries of this scheme, who are in class 9 to 12, will also be given laptops in the coming year by opting for laptops instead of financial aid amount. All the citizens of the state by whom the benefits of Vasti Deewana Yojana are being availed can also choose this option. Apart from this, the state government has also announced to start computer literacy program from class 8 so that the students studying in government schools can compete with the students studying in private schools. Features of AP Amma Vodi List

- The beneficiaries of Jagananna Amma Vodi List will be disbursed directly to the bank account.
- This support amount will be provided to the beneficiary only till the child passes the 12th class.
