In the year 2017, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh had started the AP Aarogyasri Scheme auspiciously. Aarogyasri Card was mainly started for the economically weaker people of the country who are living below poverty line. Treatment of Covid-19 under YSR Arogyasri Scheme
As we have told you above that under the Arogyasri Scheme, medical facilities are provided to the economically weaker citizens of the state, so under this scheme, medical coverage up to ₹ 200000 is provided to the beneficiaries. The Andhra Pradesh State Government has decided to include the treatment of Covid-19 in the benefits received under the Aarogyasri Card. So now AP Arogyasri Scheme. - The beneficiaries of this scheme can also get the benefit of this scheme for the treatment of Covid-19. In the next phase of this scheme, it has been decided to implement the coverage of Covid-19 in private hospitals. Earlier the Telangana government wanted to cover all government and private hospitals under this scheme for the treatment of Covid-19, but later in the final decision only government hospitals were covered under this scheme.
- All types of fever caused by the virus will be treated under the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme. Apart from this, the beneficiary can also treat dengue malaria typhoid swine flu etc and severe fever with YSR Aarogyasri Card. Till now a total of 949 diseases are being treated under Aarogyasri card in which about 77.10 lakh beneficiaries are getting the benefits.
Objective of Aarogyasri Card Status
The main objective behind the launch of the Aarogyasri Scheme 2024 of the AP State Government was to provide financial assistance to the poor people of the state who are not able to pay the medical bills on time. YSR Aarogyasri Card Eligibility Criteria
If you want to get the benefit of the Aarogyasri Card then for this you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.
- Applicant should have less than 35 acres of land which includes both wet and dry land.
- Applicant must belong to a family paying Municipality property tax for less than 3000 SFT.
- The annual family income of the applicant should be less than ₹ 500000. Outsourcing contract part time employees earning more than ₹ 500000 will also be considered eligible for this scheme.
- Any human remuneration employee and private sector employees working in public sector can get the benefit of this scheme.
- If the applicant has more than one car then he will not be considered eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant’s family should be a family filing income tax up to ₹ 500000, even then he can get the benefit of this scheme.

Process to Download YSR Aarogyasri Card
If you want to download your Aarogyasri Card then for this you have to follow the easy steps given below.
- First of all you have to visit your nearest Meeseva Kendra. Now ask help from Meeseva agent to apply for making Aarogyasri card.
- After this MeeSeva agent will apply your health card through their login id and password.
- For this, you will have to provide all your necessary documents and all the information to the MeeSeva Kendra agent. Now your health card will be applied for by the agent.
- You will be provided with an acknowledgment slip after the successful registration process. Keep this slip safe for future use. You will get your YSR Aarogyasri Card within 15 days of applying.
Procedure to Download Health Card
