Objectives of Arunachal Pradesh Ration Card

The main objective of Arunachal Pradesh Ration Card is to provide basic food items and commodities to all the needy citizens of the country at reasonable prices. Ration card also plays a very important role as a proof of one’s legal identity in the state. Apart from this, food items are provided by the state government to all eligible and needy citizens at very low prices through Arunachal Pradesh Ration Card. Types of Arunachal Pradesh Ration Card

  • APL Card- This card is provided by the state government to those citizens whose annual income is more than Rs. 10,000, card holders who fulfill this proportional requirement are not eligible for any subsidy, these ration cards are pink in color. .
  • BPL Card- These cards are distributed by the government to such citizens of the state whose annual income is less than Rs.10,000. To all those citizens who have this ration card, a huge subsidy is provided by the government on the distribution of essential commodities. The color of BPL ration cards is dark green.
  • AAY Card- These cards are provided to all the citizens of the state who are living below the poverty line, the color of these ration cards is yellow.
  • AY Card- This card has been provided by the government to all the beneficiaries of Annapurna, this card is of light green color. This card is offered to Native Americans who are 65 years of age and older.
