This was announced by Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on 10 February during the assembly. Girijana Bandhu Scheme will be Started on the Lines of Dalit Bandhu Scheme

The state government is headed by CM KCR, Telangana Chief Minister has announced the launch of Telangana Girijana Bandhu Scheme. This scheme is being started on the lines of Dalit Bandhu Yojana, Dalit Bandhu Yojana was also started by the Government of Telangana for SC related citizens. In both these schemes, the state government will provide financial assistance up to Rs.10 lakh to the citizens.
