Samarth Admission Portal

Samarth Admission Portal has been launched by the Government of Assam to simplify the admission process for undergraduate programs in all higher education institutions. “Samarth” initiative by the Ministry of Education in 2019 through National Mission on Education NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III) through digital framework with the goal of enabling universities and higher education institutions (HEIs) through information and communication technology. This portal was launched for students, staff and other stakeholders to plan, manage, deliver and monitor services. Objectives of Samarth Admission Portal

The main objective of Samarth Admission Portal is to make the process easier for all the students to apply for admission in the desired course and institute in all the government and private funded colleges and universities of Assam, it is an integrated portal. With the launch of Samarth Admission Portal in the state, now no student of the state will need to go from one place to another to submit the admission form. Along with this, students applying through this portal can submit applications in ten universities of their choice. The previous UG admission method has been abolished by the Government of Assam from the current academic year; all students who have passed Higher Secondary Final Examination can now apply online for undergraduate degree programs through this portal.   • Now you have to enter the registration details and register yourself successfully. After this you have to click on the option of online application form.
  • Register yourself by providing your contact information, after that, enter all the required personal and educational data.
  • Upload your academic records and other required documents, complete the form and then click on submit option.
  • Now the acknowledgment receipt will be generated, now you have to take a print out of the filled form and also the copy of the acknowledgement.
