Guidelines for Students on Assam DARPAN Portal
- The application is submitted under the Assam DARPAN Portal by any applicant from the state of Assam.
- A student’s profile can be changed only once before their applications are verified by the University, subject to which applications can be submitted by students only 5 times.
- Students will have access to the published selection list and waiting list for admission to the first year of high school through this portal, information about their selection will be provided to the students through SMS.
- Under this, only one admission offered by the University should be accepted for admission by using their login ID in the portal at the earliest after the release of the selection list to the students.
- Institutions cannot be switched once the application is accepted by any student, the student must take admission in the institution to complete the admission process within the allotted time frame.
- Students will be able to change their desired subject(s) or stream(s) at the time of admission, additionally the concerned institute will need to update this information under darpan.ahseconline.in portal.
Guidelines for Institutes under Assam DARPAN Portal
- Online verification for admission to HS 1st year program should be done by the institutions, the applications submitted under this will not be accepted after the institution in question receives the application.
- After the verification of applications in the first year of HighSchool of the competent institution, the selection list and waiting list will be prepared.
- Students can view the selection list and waiting list for admission on the website, along with which an SMS will be provided to the students alerting them about their choice.
- The selection list needs to be updated when there is a change in waiting list opening or student acceptance of admission, this process should be followed by the concerned institution on a regular basis.
- When a selected student accepts the admission offer from the institutes, the institutes should use their institute login ID on a daily basis during the admission process, till June 17, 2023, in addition to the login credentials of the applicants in case of termination. Confirm option should be clicked.
- The desired subject or stream of a student can be changed by an institute only at the time of admission with due authorization of the student, further this information has to be updated by the concerned institute in the portal on the day of admission.
- Changes or additions in stream and subjects of a student will be available under this portal even after the completion of admission process, contrary to this the students are not allowed to change their subject(s) or stream after submitting their complete registration .
- The admission offer may be dropped if the desired institute does not accept the students from the select list within the allotted period, consequently the institute will be allowed to add new students from the waiting list, after the applications are removed from the select list.
- Apart from this, giving admission to students under darpan.ahseconline.in portal without consent is not acceptable to the institutions.
- Enrollment of students from other institutions is not permitted through the institutions listed under this portal.
- The concerned institute will be able to upload the proper required document provided by the students in case of wrong documents uploaded by the students.
