Due to the benefits available under the AP YSR Rythu Seva Lo Upadhi Mitra Scheme launched by the state government, it will prove to be a boon for agriculture and allied sectors. Through this scheme, such farmers of the state will be helped who are facing shortage of laborers for agricultural works. Along with this, there has been a rapid increase in the daily wages due to the shortage of laborers, due to which the farmers have to provide at least 300 to 500 rupees per person as daily wages to the agricultural laborers. To redress all these problems, the state government will now provide employment equivalent to NREGA to out-of-job migrant workers under the YSR Rythu Seva Lo Upadhi Mitra Scheme 2024. Agriculture related laborers working under YSR Rythu Seva Lo Upadhi Mitra Scheme
Under this scheme, work will be provided to laborers for agricultural works in the Kharif season running from July to November. The Andhra Pradesh government has provided information that a minimum of 200 laborers are required for various types of agricultural work in one acre of crop, which includes the following types of work:-

Eligibility Criteria
To apply under the YSR Rythu Seva Lo Degree Mitra Scheme, the applicant has to follow the eligibility criteria mentioned below which is as follows:-
- The applicant should be a permanent citizen of Andhra Pradesh state, only then he will be able to take advantage of this employment scheme.
- The applicant must be a migrant worker who has returned to the state of Andhra Pradesh due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
- Only all unemployed workers of the state will be eligible to take advantage of this scheme, a worker doing any other kind of employment cannot apply under this scheme.
